After Class 12, Kailash Ankush Gangurde from Dongarpada village had to forgo higher education due to financial constraints and worked as a tailor to support his family. Struggling with low wages in Pimpalner, he later joined the DBJUP Skill Development Program through LHWRF, which enhanced his skills and provided essential support, enabling him to start his own tailoring shop.

Kailash shared, “The infrastructural support from the DBJUP Program empowered me to make my own decisions. I trained my wife in tailoring, and now she specializes in women’s clothing while I focus on men’s. We expanded our venture, at the same time my wife also became a skilled entrepreneur .” Financial stability has further boosted his newfound confidence. Kailash's transformation underscores the power of skill development. Reflecting on his journey, he emphasized, "For someone like me, with limited education and few resources, having the right skills and support can make all the difference."
